About Me
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am grateful to currently work in private practice in San Mateo, CA. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (MFC# 52699). I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish (Hablo Español).
Prior to my private practice, I worked as a clinician on the Triage and Crisis Team and the Child and Adolescent Team at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City. Before working at Kaiser, I served as a therapist at a community mental health center in Culver City, CA. During my tenure there, I provided therapy for adults, adolescents, children, families, and groups. I treated issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, eating disorders, addiction, trauma, and stress caused by life events and transitions.
While training to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I served as school counselor for children and adolescents through Los Angeles Unified School District. I also worked as a supervisor at Teen Line, a teen-to-teen crisis hotline at Cedars Sinai Hospital where I provided acute crisis intervention for adolescents around the nation.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in government and Spanish at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA and my master’s degree in Psychology from Phillips Graduate University in Chatsworth, CA.
